Joas combines in his pedigree the blood of the international jumpers and breeding stallions Douglas, Indoctro and Burggraaf. Dam Tidin II already produced the 1.35m jumper Burlington (s.Argentinus) ridden by Vincent Vermeulen, while granddam Onidin was successful competing in 1.30m classes. Onidin also produced a 1.35m-jumper and she is a sibling to the 1.40m-show jumper Van Schijndels Toronto (s.Hilton). From this versatile strain descend several international jumping horses such as Sadin (s. Manhattan) and Bacidin (s.Indorado). Joas?s sire Douglas puts in a lot of jumping qualities to his offspring, the oldest of which some are already international active and successful such as Carneyhaugh Manx, Abbervail Lightning and the Grand Prix competitor Suma's Zorro. |
